Marking Michael Anastassiades' first collaboration with Fritz Hansen, the After Chair pairs a solid wood frame with a balanced plywood seat in a design rooted in clarity and restraint. It echoes Scandinavian masters like Kaare Klint and Poul Kjærholm while carving out its own identity — a quiet dialogue between memory and the present. The name After reflects that idea: continuity through reinterpretation, each generation reimagining what came before. Crafted from FSC-certified ash in oiled white or burgundy finishes, it suits both everyday dining and standalone display.
